For the 2026 local election:

You must live in British Columbia and be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident.
Give only your own money or property. Contributions from organizations are not permitted, and nobody may reimburse you for your contribution.
Your total contributions to this campaign in 2026 must not exceed $1,429.70. This includes online payments, cheques, contributions of goods or services, and loans.
The campaign must record your full name, residential address, contribution amount and date, and confirm that you are eligible to contribute.
If your contributions to this campaign total $100 or more, your name and contribution details will be included in public financial reporting.
Local election campaign contributions are not eligible for tax receipts.
